Portable Winch

Bring down hung-up trees, skid out-of-reach logs, pull over back leaning tress or pull your chipper (or truck) out of the mud. The Portable Winch lets you bring power to where it is needed. A vehicle mounted winch is all very well but invariably the winch is facing the wrong way or you haven't got enough line. The Portable Winch is a capstan winch which means you can use an unlimited length of rope. No kinks, pig tails, barbs or whiplash - uses synthetic rope instead or wire. 1000 kg on a straight pull and up to 2 tons with a snatch block - constant pulling power - standard winches are only rated for the first layer pull. And up to four times faster (12 meters per minute) than electric winches and a 100% duty cycle (vs 20% for electric winches). All you need is somewhere to anchor the unit - tree, pole, stump or ball hitch. Powered by a relaibale 4-stroke 50cc Honda engine. Loads of accessories available including a faster drum (18 meters per minute) and skidding cone. Built tough but light weight - only 16 kgs.
