Our most popular size Friction Saver! A Friction Saver (or Cambium Saver) is an excellent way to preserve your climbing line and the tree bark. The climbing line runs through the rings instead of over the branch - less friction and less abrasion. The simple design allows you to install and retrieve the Friction Saver from the ground. Treetools include a Parrel Ball for easy retrieval - the ball, attached to the end of your line, goes through the big ring but not the small - the Stein Friction Saver has color coded rings - making it easier for set-up, installation and retrieval.
