Stein RC-3002

The RC-3002 is a unique heavy-duty dual bollard lowering device with a built in pre-tensioning system. Although weighing in excess of 27 kg the RC-3002 can be mounted by one person utilizing the top attachment point as a suspension point. The unit is secured to the tree using a specially designed 6 meter 10T ratchet strap with a 75 mm waterproof webbing backing up by securing a sling to the base anchor point. Fitted with two large diameter drums, this device can be used with two working ropes uo to 19 mm and has a working load limit of 3000 kg (subject to mounting type). The drums have two sets of guide bars specially angled at 45-degrees. The detachable pre-tension arm is designed to take the elongation out of working ropes, reducing free-fall distance so you can control the descent with more precision. The arm can be easily dismounted from the device when not required. The RC-3002 is supplied standard with two heavy-duty rubber inserts for use when tree protection is required.  Designed by Reg Coates and marketed by Stein Safety in the UK.
