The DMM Revolver Wiregate carabiner is the smaller brother to the DMM Revolver Locksafe. Only used for tool handling and rope-tail guidance in tree work. Works extremely well as a rope-tail guide while wearing climbing spurs - attach a Revolver Wiregate to the leg straps of your harness and direct the rope away from your feet. The spring-loaded, wiregate makes it easy to insert and release the rope. The patented 'mini-pulley' on the Revolver Wiregate lowers the friction on the rope, allowing it to glide easily over the bar of the carabiner as you make each step - reduces the chance of inadvertently spiking your rope. Also good for short hauls of gear. A very handy, 'accessory' carabiner to have on your harness - fully rated, so you know it can take the load. Clips directly to the becket on the Pinto pulleys (both Rig and standard) producing a useful 3:1 system.

PLEASE NOTE: the DMM Revolver is not recommended for frequent use lowering situations - you should use a suitable pulley designed specifically for that purpose.
