Specifications
The Kong Trender is a twin-cam ascender designed specifically for tree work. Based on the original Kong twin-cam ascender but with some major differences. The Kong Trender is fitted with a unique safety system to ensure branches and small twigs do not intrude into the cam area and release the rope accidentally. The rope entry point is covered with a plate and can only be released when the accessory carabiner is removed. For added security the cam cannot be released while the carabiner is in place. Designed for ascending on a doubled rope (DbRT) using ropes 8 -13mm in diameter. Modular left and right hand rubber-like compound handles for comfort. Generally used to replace a foot locking prussic. Certified to EN 567:97.
