The large internal volume and wide gate clearance make the DMM Aero HMS the perfect carabiner for the Munter hitch or if you want to load it up with multiple ropes, webbing or hardware. The notch-less keylock nose won't get hang up or snagged. The 19 mm gate opening is designed for arborist use. The barrel on the gate is machined from premium 7075 alloy to give it massive push-through strength - it will resist 6kN of inward force for extra safety. Fully anodized keylock nose for long term protection. Excellent ergonomics - fits in your hand really well. The tear-drop, elongated shape is stable in the belay loop and minimizes the chance of cross-loading. Minimum rope radius is 11 mm. Approved to EN362:2004/B
