The Buckingham Aussie Traverse is one of a few harnesses available in New Zealand to meet the requirements of the AS/NZ 1891.1:2007 standard. The Aussie Traverse is based on the tried-and-true Buckingham range of harnesses and modified to suit the specific requirements of the Australia and New Zealand markets by arb equipment pioneers, Cannings of Melbourne. The 'Aussie' harnesses offer a number of extra features over the Buckingham ANSI standard harnesses. The Aussie Traverse comes with the popular sliding double-D bridge. It has 10mm of extra padding in the back for extra support and two steel D's on each side for flipline attachment (no need to crowd one D when you can have two - now you can have multiple flipline attachments!). Comes complete with four steel accessory rings around the back so there is plenty of room to secure your tools. The Aussie Traverse also sports a unique removable batten seat. This allows for the climber to enjoy either a hard or soft seat  - and it can be easily changed depending on the job at hand - all-in-one harness. And… it complies with AS/NZ 1891.1:2007 standard with a stated 10-year life cycle.
