Petzl Elios

The Petzl Elios helmet is popular with sport tree climbers because of its durability and light weight - just under 350 g. Stylish low profile with ten ventilation holes to keep you cool. Injection molded polycarbonate shell with a expanded polypropylene foam inner for impact absorption. Simple headband strap adjustment point at the nape and the chin strap can slide forward and backward. The Elios meets the HSE recommendation as a mountaineering style helmet complying with BS EN 12492 but has no ear protection built-in making it unsuitable for treework. ie ear protection attached with drilling holes in the helmet!

Two sizes available for extra comfortable fit. NOTE: Size 1 is a very small helmet, better suited to a child's head. Size 2 is more-or-less the same sizing as the Petzl Vertex range of helmets.
