The Petzl Vertex is a ventilated helmet for work at height and rescue. Comfortable and durable helmet with ventilation, meets British HSE Safe Working Practice requirement for tree-climbing operations - the HSE strongly recommends a mountaineering style helmet complying with BS EN 12492 (note: provides no protection from electrical hazards). Facility to attach ear protection and visor - clip-in, side slot attachment (not screw-in).
- Polycarbonate shell resists impact and wear( EN 12492 standard). Meets optional requirements of the EN 397 standard: lateral deformation, use at low temperatures (down to - 30ºC).
- Also certified to ANSI Z89.1 -2003 Type 1 Class C
- Complies with AS/NZS 1801:1997
- Does not meet optional requirements of the EN 397 standard regarding electrical insulation and molten metal splash due to the ventilation holes.
