Excellent for use as a mechanical lanyard adjuster on braided rope lanyards or wirecore fliplines. Made from high strength aluminum, pin bolted and approved to EN 567 and EN 353/2 standards. 100% inspected and serial numbered. Finished in ISC red anodize. Super safe bolt-on design for permanent attachment to the lanyard. The locking cam does not have aggressive teeth like some ascenders - its gentler on your rope but grips just as well. Wire spring loaded but moves smoothly on your rope in either direction when not under tension - makes for easy adjustment. Minimum breaking load is dependent on the type and diameter of the rope you are using.
