Ocean Vectran is a unique 6mm heat resistant friction cord composed of a Polyester/Aramid outer sheath and a Vectran core stitched together into a continuous loop. The high-strength Vectran core is the load-bearing element of this loop - breaking strength 22kN. Designed for friction hitches or many other applications in tree work. The 600mm length is well suited for the prussic on a lanyard adjuster. Tested to EN 564:2006. The stitched connection is quality assured for higher strength and less bulk than a knot. This is one tough piece of friction cord.
