The 6mm Ocean Vectran loop, with a superbly made stainless steel thimble by DMM Professional, is a replaceable part of the Treemagineers CE lanyard system designed to extend the possible configuration options for the lanyard. The OV Loop can be used as an additional, fully adjustable anchor point on the 'snap' end of any rope lanyard. The patented Teufelberger 'short stitch' sits perfectly behind a six-coil prussic leaving the thimble protruding for easy carabiner attachment. The thimble is designed to 'float' on the 6mm Ocean Vectran to ensure both legs of the prussic are loaded equally. Ocean Vectran has a Aramid/Polyester sheath over a pure Vectran core - Vectran is a Liquid Crystal Polymer fiber designed for aerospace and military applications - a 'soft' replacement for steel and stainless steel cables - well suited to tree work! The OV Loop with Thimble also makes an ideal 'tether' for the Singing Tree Rope Wrench.
