Donaghys Cougar Blue is a high performance 11.7mm climbing line designed for recreational and aerial arborist applications. Double braid construction with an abrasion resistant HT (Heat Treated) Polyester cover for improved grip and handling - works well with mechanical devices and no fluffing. Cougar Blue will not 'milk' when used with traditional friction hitches. It is light weight and flexible making this rope ideal for knot tying. Cougar Blue offers low elongation, perfect for use with the Rope Wrench, foot locking or doubled rope climbing. Meets ANSI-Z-133 standards. 10% of all Cougar Blue sales goes towards The Scott Forrest Legends Foundation, a fund raising mechanism for sponsoring New Zealand tree climbers who qualify for international tree climbing events. 2011 International Tree Climbing Champion, Scott "the legend" Forrest helped in prototyping the rope for Donaghys along with Australian tree climber Grant Cody. Scott is patron of the Legends Foundation.
