Treetools is a web-based retail shop, selling climbing, rigging, pruning and safety equipment to tree professionals and recreational tree climbers nationwide. Most orders are shipped direct from our Auckland warehouse. Customers can also pick-up orders from the showroom at 8a Kerwyn Ave, East Tamaki, Auckland.
International Sales
The Treetools website is designed for use by New Zealand domestic customers. Prices
are listed in New Zealand dollars and our shipping options are local. If you are
an international customer wishing to purchase products from Treetools you will
need to advise which products you are interested in and the international shipping
destination (country, state if applicable, city) before you place the order. The
easiest way to make contact with Treetools is to use the
CONTACTform.
On receipt of the product and destination information Treetools will calculate the shipping costs and advise you accordingly. You can make payment using the Treetools custom payment link .
Please note: New Zealand GST is included in the sale price of all products at the time of purchase. For international customers we deduct the GST from the price of the product when it is exported.
Treetool Resellers
Many tool retailers (those who do not specialize in tree tools) use our website as a product resource to check availability and prices. Apart from ladders, we are happy to supply resellers but do require a minimum order of six units (of each item) and credit card sales only. If you want to resell any tools or equipment listed on the Treetools website please contactus direct and we will try to be of assistance.
Parts Availability
Parts availability can be found by clicking on the REPLACEMENT PARTS button located under the brand links on the product page. You will be directed to the parts pages detailing the replacement parts available for that particular product. If you are unsure about parts availability or cannot find the parts you want please contact or post a question on the Treetools blog.
Treetools Gift Cards
Treetools offer two forms of gift card in $10 increments to suit everyone's budget. The Treetools Gift eCardis purchased on the Treetools website. Recipients of the eCard are advised of their good luck by email. The eCard is redeemed when the recipient makes a purchase in our online store when they enter their unique eCard code (at the time of purchase). The second option is a traditional, hard plastic credit card-style Treetools Gift Card, available for sale from the Treetools store or by phone order. The Treetools Gift Card is only redeemable in-store and cannot be used in our online store. The Treetools Gift Card comes in a stylish cardboard wallet so it can be wrapped and given as a physical gift.
Special Requests
Treetools spend time with industry leaders and tree climbing practitioners to
ensure we stock the best possible tools and equipment applicable to the job but
sometimes we manage to miss important products. If you cannot find a particular
product on our website please feel free to

The latest products and updates listed on the Treetools are regularly posted on the Treetools blog. You can use the blog to keep abreast of product developments, new products, training programmes and product demo days, and we welcome your comments.
Credit Cards
Treetools offer Visa and Mastercard credit card facilities through the certified
electronic payment provider DPS. You will be asked for your credit card details
when you check out of the shopping cart (don't forget your shipping options). Once
your payment is approved, which only takes a few seconds; you will receive confirmation
and a tax invoice via email. We will include a copy of your tax invoice when the
order is shipped. Sorry, we do not accept American Express and Diners.
Treetools Gift eCard
Treetools Gift eCards are available for purchase in $10 increments to suit everyone's
budget. eCard recipients receive a unique code when an eCard is purchased. To redeem
the credits loaded against the eCard the recipient will need to enter the code
(received by email) when they Check Out. Once the code is entered into the appropriate
box make sure the 'Update' box is clicked to ensure the credit to applied. If the
value of the order is greater than the balance on the eCard they will have to pay
the difference. If it is less, they can use the code again until the eCard balance
is reduced to zero.
Direct Credit and Cheques
If you do not have a credit card and want to pay by direct credit or cheque please
use the
ORDER FORM
to place your order. Treetools will issue you with a tax invoice including
courier costs. On receipt of payment your order will be shipped. Please allow a
couple of days for bank clearance of funds.
Approved Account Holders
If you hold an approved account with Treetools please download the
ORDER FORM
and fax, email or phone your order through. You should be prepared to quote a
company order number. Treetools will email a tax invoice detailing shipping and
product costs. If an order cannot be filled immediately it may be part shipped
with no additional shipping charges to you. A tax invoice copy will be included
when your order ships. Statement are sent at month end for payment 20th month following.
We reserve the right to hold delivery on overdue accounts or those accounts not
settled in accordance with Treetools credit terms.
Product Pricing Variations
On rare occasions, data, including prices, may be inaccurately displayed on our
website due to system or typographical errors. Every effort is made to ensure these
errors do not occur. We reserve the right to correct errors as we become aware
of them and may not honor inaccurate or erroneous pricing. Our prices are also
subject to change without notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We have tried to make searching for the right tool or equipment as easy as possible.
Product Search
The easiest method is to use PRODUCT SEARCH found in the search box at the top
right hand corner of the web page. Type in a keyword you think appropriate and
press enter/return or click on the right hand arrow. Products relevant to your
keyword will be displayed instantly.
Product and Industry Types
On the left hand side of the web page under the Treetools logo you will find another
easy way to browse through Treetools extensive product list. From the top down
we have listed products:
Climbing,
Rigging,
Pruning
and
Safety.Each category has a series of sub categories designed to assist in navigation
to the appropriate product.
If you are looking for a specific brand of product you are probably best to click
on the BRANDS box below the products and industry listings mid way down the left
hand side of the web page. Brand logos will be found on the catalog page. Click
on the brand logo to find the product category you are looking for.
Brand Links
On each of the product pages you will find a product name, price and €Add
to Cart€ button. Specifications are listed where available. You will also
find size options, color etc on products where this information is appropriate.
You cannot place a product in your shopping cart unless you select the size and/or
color options. This is to ensure we send the correct product when we dispatch your
order. Below the specification box you will find links to other branded products
in the range you have selected. This is a convenient way for you to browse branded
product in one window without having to click back and forward. You can move from
product to product by selecting related products shown under the large product
image or you can return to the left hand category listings.
Add to Cart
When you add a product to your shopping cart a drop-down notes your action. The
product window remains active so you can continue browsing. You will be reminded
if you miss an option selection (size, color etc) by the same drop-down. Your shopping
cart activity can be viewed by clicking €view cart€ or by pressing the
SHOPPING CART
button at the top of the right hand column.
Shopping Cart
Once in the shopping cart window you can increase the number of products you want
or add new products. The total cost will be revised and re-displayed each time
you change the contents of the cart. You can return to your planned purchases by
clicking on the product name if you need additional information.
Shipping
You cannot proceed to 'Check Out' until you have selected a shipping option. On
most products your options are Auckland only, North Island and South Island or
you can choose to pick up from our office. Auckland covers north to Orewa and south
to Bombay, coast to coast. If you choose 'pick up' your shipping cost will be zero.
Ladders, due to their bulk incur different shipping rates and include North Island,
South Island and pick up. Mainfreight ship our ladders to most locations throughout
New Zealand. If you are unsure which shipping option is appropriate choose 'pick
up' and contact us using the shipping comments box or by
contactingus direct. International customers with International Shipping Tickets already
added to the shopping cart should select 'IST' when they come to the shipping option
box.
Check Out
Mandatory information boxes on the 'Check Out' form are indicated with a red asterisk.
You can note any special shipping instructions in the appropriate box. Once the
form is complete press SUBMIT and follow the DPS instructions. Credit card approval
should show immediately. If not, review the information you have provided and try
again. An order confirmation and tax invoice will be emailed to your address. Treetools
will include a hard copy of the tax invoice, along with your credit card receipt,
when your order is shipped.
Customer Registration
Once you have made a purchase and your order is dispatched Treetools will advise
Track & Trace details via email. Register as a Treetools customer and Login.
Registration is available on every web page and can be found in the bottom left
hand corner of the page. Once registered you can check the status of your orders
(past and current). Select the order you want to track from the list of invoices
available. Copy your Track and Trace number and click on the appropriate link:
Mainfreight for ladder orders and Fastways for everything else. Paste your Track
and Trace number into the shipping companies Track & Trace search box and check
the delivery status of your order. A record of your orders with Treetools is permanently
available for your future reference - all you need do is login. Your can register
as a Treetools customer anytime.
